John 21:1-14

1. Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Tiberias. It happened this way:
2. Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.
3. "I'm going out to fish," Simon Peter told them, and they said, "We'll go with you." So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.
4. Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.
5. He called out to them, "Friends, haven't you any fish?" "No," they answered.
6. He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
7. Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, "It is the Lord," he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.
8. The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.
9. When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.
10. Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish you have just caught."
11. Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.
12. Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." None of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord.
13. Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.
14. This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.

Are these copyrighted? I do a small magazine for our church and these would be great. What would I have to do to get some of these for this project?

I hear Jesus asked Peter after breakfast, "Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me more than these?" Peter replied, Yes, I love you more than these,.." Go and feed my sheep.
Jesus was reconciling Peter to Himself after Peter denied Christ, as Jesus said would. If Jesus said it, It sure will be true and come to pass. That's why most Bibles have the words and teachings of Christ in red print, to symbolize the shed blood of Christ.

Then he predicts Peter's death and John living a long life to see him. Peter was crucified upside down on a cross, because he did not want to offend his Lord, and John was exiled on Patmos and wrote the book of Revelations, whose prophecies will come to pass. John got to see christ in the visions of the Golden Lampstands, and the slain Lamb of God who rose again to open the 7 scrolls.

Excellent piece once again =) I love the angle on this drawing is amazing because it shows Jesus nicely without showing his face, which I like because its hard to put a face on Jesus. Great cobbling on the stones and the background is really gorgeous too. Its fantastic how they are trying to pull in the boat and the fish net yet still can't keep there eyes off of Jesus =D I like the primitive grill too =) Amazing work mate.

Every time you post a new picture I'm amazed at how real it looks, even though it's not a realisim style you use. The colors of the sky, the waves, and even the rocks and pebbles seem to pop out in such a way that it brings life to the pic. Keep up the great work!

Peter became a disciple again.

I love your drawings, but this one in particular makes me wonder - which one's Peter? None of these guys are dripping wet. :D
